The fresco has three
scenes more or less complete - above are the last supper (on the left) and
the taking of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane (on the right). The
romanesque clerestory survives, despite now being under the roofline of the
later aisles, and contains figures of saints and apostles in it's deep
recesses. Below the passion scenes, above the nave pillars, are martyrdom
scenes.
