1979 an arsonist set fire to the organ and nearly destroyed the whole building.
During the restoration that followed this 12th century passion cycle was
uncovered. It was done in 'true fresco' (paint straight on to fresh plaster -
it's this that has survived, hence the blurred look and lack of the lines that
were drawn on top of this layer) and is Very Rare Indeed.
