Arkesden (splendid
name) is a very very pretty village (and, being in Essex, full of well-off
people with big cars nowadays) and the church is no exception - locked, so
no pictures of the inside alas. there looks to be a very fine Priest's Room
in the tower with a separate entrance at the foot of that turret.
